Each of the following options are available in addition to the numerous features which are fully supported within AlphaRENTAL. Customers may choose to add additonal packages / features as they see fit in order to meet the needs and desires of each unique circumstance and situation.
Interface to Internet based credit card software package
Includes unlimited user license to the PC Charge software package that does the internet based credit card processing, end of day settlements, etc. This software needs to be on one PC on the network that will not be shut down during business hours. We can also save you money on credit card processing fees, call for more information on this!
Integrated Fax Software License (VSI-Fax for the fileserver)
Allows you to fax quotes, reservations, rental contracts, invoices, purchase orders, statements, and any report on the system from any workstation. One license required per fileserver no matter how many locations or workstations. Each PC workstation also requires a license for PrintWizard software.
Integrated E-Mail Software License (for the fileserver)
Exact same abilities as fax software (above), also requires PrintWizard, etc.
AlphaRENTAL Mobile License (for Windows Mobile 5 or 6 smart phones)
Allows you to lookup (in real time) the customer’s account information, check availability for any data range, check rental rates (book or special by customer), check revenue generated by store for any date range (drilling down for more detail by department), create reservations for customers for any date range in the future (even selecting job site and taking credit card deposits), and find out where equipment is or who has it reserved (if it is not available). One license needed for each phone that needs real time access to your data. Each requires $10.00 monthly subscription in addition to your cellular plan. Monthly subscription includes hosting and updates to phone application.
Export Routine to get data or reports to Microsoft Excel
Any report can be exported to Excel at run time. Any database table or file can be exported to Excel with full Select & Sort (Query) ability and user can decide which fields or columns are exported, plus lots of other features.
Interface to Qualcomm’s GlobalTRACS equipment tracking via GPS
Customer is required to license GlobalTRACS from Qualcomm and install their equipment on delivery trucks and rental inventory they desire to be tracked. One license per fileserver, no matter how many locations or workstations.
Interface to your data in real time from your website
We provide an API that can be used by your web designer to get real time access to your data for your customers to have the ability to check their account balances, see any unpaid invoices (and drill down to detail of that invoice), see any open rental contracts or reservations (with full drill down ability to see what items are on that reservation or rental contract, see where the equipment is located if on a job site), check inventory availability and rental rates if you want to allow that, and change their contact information (login, password, etc.)
Web Reservations in real time from your website
Requires above website interface, but adds the ability for your web developer to use our API to allow your customer to create reservation online, even going as far as to allow credit card deposits if the customer does not have a charge account. If you have either the fax or email interface then the reservation can be immediately faxed or emailed back to the customer as a confirmation.
Interface to QuickBooks Pro or Peachtree for automated journal entry creation
Update your Quick Books Pro or Peachtree General Ledger as often as daily or as seldom as monthly.
Ithaca Thermal Receipt Printer with Auto-Cut Function
Ethernet connection, and your logo & IP loaded and setup before shipping. This model prints 48 lines per second, with no noise and no ribbons to replace.
Signature Capture / Customer Display Terminals, USB connection
Can display 3 lines of approx. 45 characters (based on font you can change) with your logo when not in signature capture mode (as a customer display for specials, etc. Can be changed by workstation if desired). Includes the required Genisys “Signature Capture” software license for each unit.
Drivers License Scanners with USB connection
Allows scanning the image (and storing if desired) of the drivers license. Integrated software function will automatically add the customer to your database if not on file, and if the customer exists but the license has updated information it will then update the customer’s record with the new information. Includes documentation on how to install software and setup to integrate with AlphaRENTAL. We will talk you through the install and setup as needed.
3 Track magnetic stripe readers, USB / keyboard wedge
Will read credit cards and also drivers that have 3 track magnetic stripes on the back. Will auto populate screens with information included.
Electronic Cash Drawer with “Media Slots”
Connects to and is opened from Ithaca receipt printer on “cash” transactions. Has 2 “media slots” on the front of drawer that used for checks and credit card receipts. Includes stainless steel front, 2 sizes of drawer are available.
Hand Held Products 3800 Long Range CCD Bar Code Scanner (USB)
This unit will scan UPC codes and Code 3 of 9 (along with several other) types of bar codes, and can be used on resale inventory, parts, and certain rental items. Can survive drops to concrete from 5’, has no moving parts.
Bar Code Blaster printer with Ethernet connection
2.4” wide direct thermal model. Prints bar codes for parts, resale & bin labels.
